Looking for a freeware 2D plotting chart package for C# or C++ under visual studio

Hello all,

I'm looking for a free libray for plotting 2D charts that can be
integrable on C# or C++ projects under visual studio (.NET ou VS6.0).

I searched using google and yahoo but I didn't find any free package. I
found the Ch package from SoftIntegration (that can be integrable in my
project, sort of) but the plot module needs is not 0 cost and looks a
bit ugly.

Is there any good package? Compatibility with VS2005 would be a welcome
extra.

Thanks

(BTW : Is there a better adequate newsgroup for this particular
question? I'm not very used to newsgroups.)

I'm currently using NPlot, the documentation is not great, but from the
examples you can usually extrapolate what you need

Hi,

Take a look at Super 2d/3d Graph Library. It's a 100% .NET library for
chart drawing.

Although not totally free, if you compare it with other choices, it's
almost free! It has a one-time pay license (only 39$) and it's
royalty-free. Includes unlimited email support, free updates for a year
and VS2005 support. It may be the best charting component on the web
for the best price!

Best regards,

M. Cota

Take a look at ZedGraph (http://zedgraph.org).  It's free, and is
written in C# and produces some very nice charts.

Thanks Grant, ZedGraph seems easier to use.

Hi,
look at TeeChart at
http://www.steema.com/products/teechart/whatsnew.html.
If I correctly understood what you mean saying "2D charts". Download
Lite edition - it's for free.
Good luck
